COURSE OVERVIEW

The CPC31420 Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing is designed for waterproofers working on internal, external, and below-ground wet areas in residential and commercial projects. It is also a valuable qualification for tilers and plasterers.
This hands-on course is primarily delivered on the job, allowing participants to develop, refine, and validate their skills while gaining practical experience in their trade.
The qualification includes core units covering essential construction industry skills, along with specialized units focused on waterproofing.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This qualification is ideal for those currently performing waterproofing tasks in the building and construction industry and looking to become fully qualified. It is particularly relevant in preparation for the new Victorian Building Authority trades registration requirements approved by the Victorian Government.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no formal prerequisite qualifications, but applicants should be employed in the building and construction industry and working in the trade of the qualification you apply for.

TUITION FEES

State government funding is available for this qualification through the Victorian Skills First Funding Program. Eligible participants will not pay tuition fees

VICTORIAN SKILLS FIRST ELIGIBILITY

You may be eligible for Skills First funding if you:
  • Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or hold an approved bridging, protection, safe haven, or humanitarian visa
  • Live in Victoria
